What is the outcome if an incoming record matches multiple rules in Route transformation?

In Route transformation, there is an option to Follow only first matched rule in the Properties screen, as shown below.

If the option is checked (it is checked by default), the record is assigned to the first rule it matches, even if it satisfies more than one rule. If the option is unchecked, the record follows all the rules it can satisfy.
