What does the Aggregate Transformation do in Astera Centerprise?

The Aggregate Transformation in Astera Centerprise provides the functionality to derive aggregate values from your input data by applying aggregate functions such as Group By, Sum, Count, First, Last, Min, Max, Average, Var or StDev. The dataset can be split into two groups so that aggregate value(s) can be generated for the group instead of the whole dataset. For example, calculate the number of employees by city, or get average sales price by year. To use the Aggregate Transformation in a dataflow, go to Toolbox > Transformations > Aggregate.
